The aim of this project was to create a unified environment for the teaching of 16 different courses in upper secondary education. The software was implemented in 15 schools. A major component of the project was teacher training and evaluation of the outcomes of software implementation.

ILSP / R.C. "Athena" was responsible for the development of the software "Ancient Greek Prose" for the teaching of Ancient Greek language and literature. It encompasses 36 texts of six different authors: Lysias, Isokrates, Plato, Xenophon, Aristotle and Thukidides.

The following are the principle characteristics of the software: introduction of a strong cultural dimension in the learning of language with the incorporation of video and pictures from museums and archaeological sites, emphasis upon the interdisciplinary teaching of Ancient Greek, on-line help for instructors as well as recording of their pupils' performance.
