Post-doctoral experienced researcher in the field of Knowledge Extraction and Mining As part of its commitment to continuously reinforce its excellence and strengthen its capacities in language technologies, the Institute of Language and Speech Processing (ILSP – http://www.ilsp.gr/en) of the "Athena" Research and Innovation Center (http://www.athena-innovation.gr/en.html) announces a position for experience researchers in the area of: Knowledge Extraction and Mining The position is opened in the context of the LangTERRA project (www.langterra.eu) which is co-funded by the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Union (Grant Agreement No. 285924 FP7-REGPOT-2011-1). LangTERRA represents ILSP’s strong commitment to continuously reinforcing its excellence and strengthening its capacities and potential to excel at a European level in language technologies and related fields.
The selected experienced researchers will strengthen ILSP's research capacity by working as part of the respective ILSP team and bringing additional experience and know-how in this field. They are also expected to engage into networking with prominent research organizations throughout Europe, developing new collaborations and initiating proposals for funded research. The recruited experienced researchers will be offered a contract with ILSP. The duration of the contract will be 6 months, and could be extended depending on the availability of the necessary resources. The indicative monthly rate for the position will be 4.000 Euros depending on the status, qualifications and experience of the selected candidate. The submitted applications must include:
The applicants should be available for a Skype interview. ILSP may come in contact with the persons providing the recommendation letters. Upon request, the applicant should be able to provide also copies of relevant diplomas and transcripts of academic records. The diplomas should be in English or Greek, else a formal translation in one of these languages should be provided.
