It is our pleasure to announce the 3rd Greek Signal Processing Jam (SP-JAM) event that will take place at the “Kostis Palamas” building in Athens, on January 20, 2015.

The event is organized in honour of Professor George Carayannis. George Carayannis is currently Professor Emeritus at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University or Athens, which he has served since 1984. He founded the Institute for Language and Speech Processing in 1992 and was its Director until 2003. In 2003 he was appointed Director General and President of the Board of Directors of the “Athena” Research and Innovation Center and held this position until 2010.

The SP-JAM is a sponsored event of the European Association for Signal Processing and the IEEE Signal Processing Society and provides a forum for researchers in the areas of signal processing and pattern recognition.

The event is co-sponsored by Qualia Technologies of Understanding and Innoetics High-end Speech Technologies.

The 3rd Greek Signal Processing Jam is organized by the Institute for Language and Speech Processing of the “Athena” Research and Innovation Center.
