The workshop, which will be hosted by the Sign Language Technologies Team at ILSP/ATHENA RC, focuses on the State-of-Art in the domain of Sign Language Technologies with emphasis on avatar interoperability issues as regards both communication among existing sign synthesis engines and reusability of sign synthesis language resources, irrespective of the coding system used for the creation of each distinct resource. The workshop takes place in the framework of research activities relating to DRASIS project, E3.1 (KRIPIS II). The scientific issues addressed will provide input to the next major Sign Language Technologies events in the framework of LREC and SLTAT.
