Spectral analysis environment

The "New Rhythm" constitutes software, that runs in window environment with many possibilities of signal processing, giving the possibility of generation of synthetic signals as well as recording and/or storing digital real signals (voice, cardiogram, encephalogram, respiratory signal etc) in various forms (WAV, 12-bits, 16-bits etc).

It can perform spectral analysis of segments of the above signals, as such or after windowing, or with the classic methods of Fourier type or with methods based on models of poles (AR) or poles-null (ARMA). The available methods are: Durbin, Covariance, Least Squares, Burg, Pisarenko.

The programme also gives the possibility of hearing the signals as well as storage for future use. The product "New Rhythm" is mainly useful in DSP applications, as well as in the academic society as assistance of corresponding courses.

This programme was developed in the Department of Voice Technology in the Institute of Language and Speech Processing (ILSP / R.C. "Athena").
