| The GSL Fingerspelling keyboard is an online virtual keyboard of alphanumeric symbols which enables the use of the handshapes which correspond to the 24 Greek alphabet characters and the digits 0-9 when typing during data entry tasks, as e.g. for providing proper names and dates. The use of this tool facilitates data entry by native signers and also representation of entities which have no corresponding sign in a sign language, as the proper names daily referred to in news reports. |
