CV data

Giannis Mourthos is a PhD candidate of the Department of History and Archeology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He received his degree in archeology from the Department of History and Archeology of the University of Ioannina and a postgraduate diploma in classical archeology from the Postgraduate Studies Program of the University of Athens. He has worked as a contract archaeologist at the 19th, 15th, 18th Ephorates of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities and at the Ephorate of Antiquities of Kavala. He collaborated with the Cultural Heritage Department of the Athena Research Center in the programs "iGuide – Socially Enriched Mobile Tourist Guide for Unexploited Cultural and Natural Monuments", "ARIADNE - Predictive digitization restoration and degradation assessment of cultural heritage objects", "AReNA - Content Analysis Technologies in Culture".
