The Lab’s aim is the support and promotion of scientific research in the field of archaeometry, the development of new methods and innovative analytic and computational technical assessments, as well as the transfer of current research results in scientific fields from the area of Cultural Sciences. Through the use of advanced physicochemical methods, the Lab aims to define materials and extract information from archaeological objects, monuments, works of art and raw materials, in order to obtain fuller knowledge and understanding of cultural evolution. Every procedure follows internationally acknowledged standards for the assurance of the best possible quality of the provided services and results.
