Βιογραφικά στοιχεία

Η Αγγελική Φωτοπούλου είναι ερευνήτρια στο ΙΕΛ από το Νοέμβριο του 1999. Στο ΙΕΛ / Ε.Κ. "Αθηνά" ασχολείται με την εκπόνηση προδιαγραφών για τον σχεδιασμό και τον έλεγχο των λεξικών και έχει αναλάβει από γλωσσολογικής πλευράς την επόμενη έκδοση του ορθογραφικού και συντακτικού διορθωτή "Συμφωνία". Διδάκτωρ Γλωσσολογίας (Πανεπιστήμιο Paris 8, διευθυντής Μ. Gross) από το 1993. Στα πλαίσια του διδακτορικού μελέτησε τις στερεότυπες προτάσεις (collocations) δημιουργώντας ένα ηλεκτρονικό λεξικό με συντακτικές πληροφορίες για περίπου 4000 στερεότυπες προτάσεις. Ταυτόχρονα εργάζεται στο ευρωπαϊκο πρόγραμμα αυτόματης μετάφρασης EUROTRA (γαλλική ομάδα). Post-doc στο Institut National des Telecommunications (INT) στο Παρίσι. Μελετάει την μορφολογία των πολυλεκτικών όρων εκπονώντας ένα ηλεκτρονικό ορολογικό λεξικό για τις τηλεπικοινωνίες. Μετά το post-doc αναλαμβάνει στο ΙΝΤ τον τομέα "Υπολογιστική Γλωσσολογία" και συντονίζει την γαλλική ομάδα του ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος για την ορολογία POINTER. Από το 1997 ερευνήτρια στα εργαστήρια του Εθνικού Ιδρύματος Ερευνών της Γαλλίας (CNRS : LADL / Universite Paris 7 καιTLP/ Limsi). Έχει διδάξει στα Πανεπιστήμια Saint-Denis (Paris 8) , Jussieu (Paris 7) και στο ΙΝΤ (όπου ανέλαβε και την οργάνωση σειράς μαθημάτων Υπολογιστικής Γλωσσολογίας). Συμμετέχει στο σχεδιασμό και την εκτέλεση πολλών ευρωπαϊκών (POINTER, GRAMLEX, ARISE…) αλλά και γαλλικών προγραμμάτων (GRACE, CNET).
