Βιογραφικά στοιχεία

Η Νάσια Δήμου έλαβε το δίπλωμα Ελληνικής Φιλολογίας με ειδίκευση στην Γλωσσολογία από το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης το 2001. Κατά την διάρκεια των μεταπτυχιακών της σπουδών έλαβε το μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα (DEA) στην Πειραματική Φωνητική από το Univesity Paris 7 (σε συνεργασία με το University Paris 3) του Παρισιού το 2002, με θέμα διατριβής: «Αναγνώριση γλώσσας από υπερτεμαχιακά στοιχεία: Συγκριτική έρευνα της Γαλλικής και της Ελληνικής Γλώσσας», υπό την επίβλεψη των καθηγητών G.Boulakia (Paris 7) και J-Y Dommegues (Paris 8). Εκπόνησε την διδακτορική της διατριβή στο Univesity Paris 7 του Παρισιού το 2008 υπό την επίβλεψη του καθηγητή J-Y Dommegues με θέμα «Αναγνώριση γλώσσας από υπερτεμαχιακά στοιχεία: Πειραματική μελέτη δύο ιδιωμάτων της Νέας Ελληνικής ».

Κατά την χρονική περίοδο 2003-2007 και στο πλαίσιο της Γαλλικής Υποτροφίας, την οποία έλαβε για την εκπόνηση της διδακτορικής της διατριβής (Allocation de Recherche), ανέλαβε την διδασκαλία μαθημάτων Γενικής Γλωσσολογίας (2) και Πειραματικής Φωνητικής (5) σε προπτυχιακό και μεταπτυχιακό επίπεδο.

Ερευνητικά έχει ασχοληθεί και ασχολείται ενεργά με την τα προσωδιακά χαρακτηριστικά των ελληνικών ιδιωμάτων, την προσωδία στον συνθετικό λόγο και την επεξεργασία της Ελληνικής Νοηματικής Γλώσσας.

Συνεργάζεται με το τμήμα Φωνής και Ήχου του Ινστιτούτου Επεξεργασίας του Λόγου από το 2003 και ανήκει στο ερευνητικό του δυναμικό από τον Ιανουάριο του 2009 συμμετέχοντας στο ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα Dicta-Sign.

Η Νάσια αποτελεί μέλος της ομάδας Εκπαιδευτικής Τεχνολογίας του Ινστιτούτου Επεξεργασίας του Λόγου και συνεργάζεται στενά με την ομάδα Σύνθεσης Φωνής.
